End of Year Letter from the Board of Education

Dear School District 8 Staff,

The Board of Education wants you to know that you, our employees, are the most valuable asset of the Kootenay Lake School District.

Without you, our students would not have thrived… without you our schools would not have flourished, and without you our district would not have functioned.

It is really hard to do the job you do, as well as you do. The work you do is impressive under normal circumstances, but that you have continued to do so through the uncertainty and intensity of these past months is extraordinary.
