Opportunity to Host a Japanese High School Student!
SD8's West Kootenay International Education program in excited to welcome Japanese students from Yokohama (Kanagawa), Japan, for a full year, starting in February 2023.
We are still looking for a home for one boy. He's cheerful and active, with a love for sports (especially soccer!). As the youngest of three children, he is hoping to experience Canada by watching ice hockey and going snowboarding.
Each student requires their own bedroom with a nurturing home environment where they
are fed and supported. Homestay families are financially compensated for hosting a student, and hosting is a wonderful way to experience another culture without having to travel.
